Brenda Rader Mross is one of six daughters born to Nebraska farmer Bob and his darling Dorothy, both of whom are dearly departed. Brenda and her sisters are still called The Rader Girls, a nickname the sextet has grown to embrace. Brenda has also worn many other titles from her “daze” in radio, advertising, writing, and volunteering, but her favorite comes from the hardest work she’s ever done: Mom. Her newspaper columns for The Fort Collins Coloradoan were the inspiration for this book. Brenda, her husband Jim, and their clowder of cats live on ten acres in unincorporated Waverly, Colorado, where they brought up their daughters Molly and Erin.
